# Changelog

All notable changes to the AUREN Core Specs are documented in this file.

## Unreleased — v2.5 release preparation R1, 2026-10-10

### Final repository preparation R1

- Consolidated README, NOTICE, LICENSE and CHANGELOG as central root documents; archived the unchanged FC2 changelog as provenance.
- Updated the single Guidance context path to `README.md`; all other operative Guidance values are preserved.
- Explicitly excluded separately published Perspektivensystemik and Resonanzkreis materials, courses, workbooks, books and future editions beyond portions actually included in the licensed Core. Existing Core licenses remain unaffected.
- Recorded maintainer adoption of the reviewed policies and the accepted public project contact.
- Recorded enabled private vulnerability reporting, Secret Protection, push protection and configured repository/email notifications, with their actual evidence limits.
- Refroze the preparation with a new identity, refreshed static validation and a complete payload manifest; no new model runs.

### Operational v2.5 development

- Clarified contextual signal interpretation, source authority and host boundaries, consent scope and revocation, requested reflection and reasoned recommendations.
- Aligned mode priority, response routing and distinct question budgets; calibrated support and emergency guidance without diagnosing users or inferring crisis from style alone.
- Added the optional Resonanzkreis concept reference in FC2 without a mandatory workflow or change to the remaining Core rules.
- Preserved 45 canonical authored cases and documented 135 historical RC3 answer stages plus nine targeted adapter-v1.1 checks, including preserved T03/T23 findings and explicit evidence limits.

### Repository preparation

- Added the reviewed Code of Conduct, contribution guidelines, Security Policy and Safety Guidance.
- Merged README, complete NOTICE, license scope and current release status; retained the historical v2.4 versioned files.
- Included the full CC BY-SA 4.0 legal code and preserved the separate MIT validator license.
- Documented the test-delivery method, review dependencies, exact source identities and scope of unchanged behavior.
- Added a separate read-only validator, manifest and preparation evidence. ChatGPT/Codex assisted drafting and verification.

### Scope

- This preparation preserves the full frozen FC2 normative Core body, Logic body, Guidance behavior, scenario files and adapter behavior. Its changes are repository documentation, explicit release metadata and packaging.
- Core gates on Public FC2 + Internal R1 and document R1 rechecks are complete. Policy adoption is confirmed; Stable approval and public publication remain pending; no new model run or installation is claimed.
- Candidate snapshots remain immutable. See [the frozen FC2 changelog](evidence/fc2/CHANGELOG_at_freeze.md) for the historical FC1/FC2 preparation record.

## [2.4] — 2026-08-08 GitHub publication package

The normative v2.4 content predates this GitHub publication package. Repository packaging does not change the operational meaning of the Core Specs or Core Logic.

### AUREN v2.4

- added explicit mode priority,
- added crisis protocol and referral logic,
- added Phase 0 contracting,
- added systemic question families,
- operationalized resource logic,
- added explicit model references with local-specification priority,
- strengthened responsibility preservation and dependency prevention.

### Repository publication metadata

- added a GitHub-rendered `README.md`,
- added `LICENSE` and `NOTICE.md`,
- documented canonical current and pinned versioned sources,
- included the versioned text export under `exports/`,
- excluded the duplicate unversioned website alias from the versioned repository package,
- added content checksums.

For the detailed operational description, see the “What changed in v2.4?” section in `README.md`.

Historical reading note: the v2.4 description corresponds to the README in the pinned v2.4 release.
